The FONDERIA ALFREDO TOGNO SRL operates since 1938 in the transformation field of raw materials. The production is concentrated on the realisation of die-cast aluminium alloy parts on behalf of third parties. The constant updating of the technologies and of the quality standards is the basis of the business mission aimed to obtain the total quality. The experience gathered during the years of activity makes FTA nowadays specialized in the manufacturing of particular die-cast parts of quality and precision destined to different fields, like household articles and car industry. FTA can completely carry out the main operations of planning, control, processing and finishing of die-cast jets. The execution of estimates is offered starting from a simple single project considering, proposing and consulting the customer with the best feasibility solutions. The consolidated presence on the main European markets and the obtaining of the certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 give evidence of experience, engagement and professionalism. The policy of co-design in close collaboration with the customer, together with the use of the most recent planning systems CAD 3D, allow a planning of 360 degrees regarding the project. The intense preliminary research guarantees the real reaching of the dimensional and quality standards agreed with the customer and keeping them during the years. Furthermore FTA will supply in the near future and at moderate prices a test model in the form of a silicone prototype, drawn from the full or earth cast. The interventions of ordinary maintenance on the moulds are carried out directly inside the factory. Possible modifications or repairs are carried out quickly due to an excellent relationship of collaboration and the nearness of the planners. All these factors help to reach the high quality standards without compromising the vital production factor: time. Quality is the main component of the business mission of FTA. That is the reason why it was necessary to guarantee an international certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, obtained in February 2003. The quality control starts from the raw material through the selection of qualified and certified suppliers. The die-cast jets are regularly controlled, analyzed and tested on the machine and during the entire working process till the assembling and packing phases. It is possible to carry out three-dimensional, X-rays controls, pressure tightness and destructive tests, according to the complexity of the product and its final use. The continuous efforts aimed to a constant increase of the quality level of products and service together in full obedience of the environment, have contributed in consolidating the presence of FTA above all on those markets, like the German ones, which are particularly sensitive and demanding.
